instant wheat dosa is an easy and quick recipe as it gets done in minutes and no soaking and fermentation is required. so, if you don't have dosa batter in your fridge, you can make this wheat dosa instantly.

while making this instant wheat dosa or godhuma dosa, you can skip the rice flour, I usually add to make this dosa crisp.

instant wheat dosa / instant atta dosa is a healthy meal, ideal for having as a breakfast or as snacks and relished with coconut chutney and sambhar.

Instant Wheat Flour Dosa

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Yield: 7-8 dosas 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup wheat flour or atta
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon yoghurt
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • salt as required
  • water as required
  • oil 


Directions for making whole wheat dosa recipe


1. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, rice flour, yoghurt, onion, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt, mix.

2. Add water little by little and make a smooth thin runny batter.

3. Heat a dosa tava and sprinkle few drops of oil. Wipe it off with a tissue paper.

4. Now take the batter with the help of a ladle and drop thinly on the tava in a circular motion from outside to inside, do not spread with ladle like a normal dosa.

5. Drizzle few drops of oil all over the dosa and roast on medium high flame till it becomes light golden. Flip and cook the other side for a minute or till crisp.

6. Repeat till all the dosa batter is used up. Each time before taking the batter mix it well.

7. Your instant wheat flour dosa is ready. Serve with coconut chutney or sambhar.

Notes:

- Addition of onion and green chillies is optional, you can skip them.
Addition of yoghurt is also optional, but it gives a good flavor to this instant wheat dosa.
- the batter should be thin running consistency, hence add the water accordingly.
