Instant Rice Flour Dosa
instant rice flour dosa is my go to recipe when I am very lazy to make rice and urad dal dosa batter and yet have cravings for homemade crisp dosas. this dosa can also be made when you run out of time and yet want to make a healthy meal.

instant rice flour dosa can be made plain without any onions and green chillis. I've added these and it gave an extra flavor to my dosa. if making for kids, you can omit the green chillis.

the technique of pouring this dosa on the tava is different than how we go about our regular dosa. while making this instant rice flour dosa, remember to pour the batter from the outside to the inside as we can not expand the batter with our ladle in circular motion as we do with our regular dosas. You just need to pour the batter around. Also, do not overlap the batter as this will give you a thick non crispy dosa.

each time while taking the batter, mix it really well. you need to roast this dosa on medium high flame to make it crispy and golden. addition of rava in the batter helps in making this dosa crisp.
