Sabudana kheer is one of the easiest and delicious Indian desserts recipe to make. It is usually served on vrats or fasting days, as it is highly nutritious.

Sabudana is a processed food made using tapioca root. It is also known as sago or tapioca pearls and has got a bland taste in itself. Cooking it in milk and sugar is an excellent way to use this ingredient. It is also used in making khichdi, vada, puddings, etc. and it comes out delicious.

Today I have made a yummy kheer out of these cute little pearls. I have used big sized ones, you can also make use of the tiny ones, which needs to be soaked only for 30 minutes and also it gets cooked faster. This kheer tastes yummy both hot and chilled, but if you are making it to serve next day, add more milk as the sago pearls tend to absorb milk overnight.
