Ribbon Pakoda also known as Ribbon Murukku is a crunchy South Indian snacks recipe. It is prepared widely during the Indian festival of Diwali.

These pakodas are easy to make just like any other fried pakodas. They require the murukku maker for giving the shape of a ribbon. The recipe can be tweaked as per your liking, you can add any of the ingredients like garlic, ajwain, cumin seeds, turmeric etc. If you want it less spicy, you can omit the red chilli powder completely. Also, you need to fry it on medium high flame or else these pakodas won’t come out crunchy.

These pakodas when stored in an airtight container remains good for a week. So you can make them in bulk and store and enjoy it along with your hot tea for your evening snacks or whenever you crave for something to munch on. Kids will love these pakodas anytime.
