Radish Sambar
sambar is prepared in a variety of ways, like using a mix of vegetables like drumstick, carrot, radish, ladies finger, brinjal etc. while other way to make is using any one vegetable and each sambar will have its own unique taste. this sambar falls under the second category and uses only radish.

radish sambar is a flavorful sambar recipe prepared with radish or mooli, shallots, tomatoes and sambar masala. also it is very easy to make. to quicken up the process, you can pressure cook for one whistle as cooking in pan takes more time for the radish to get done.

i usually prepare sambar with mix of vegetables for all my weekday lunches as this is the best way of including variety of vegetables in my family's diet.

my kid is a fan of sambar and we usually enjoy it with rice and fish fry.
