Chicken Tikka Sandwich

Chicken tikka sandwich is a delicious and easy to assemble snacks recipe with a flavorful combination of chicken tikka and mayonnaise.




You can prepare the chicken tikka in advance and just do the assembly whenever you are in a hurry or don't have time for an elaborate cooking.

Chicken tikka sandwich is also an ideal lunch box recipe which you can pack for your kids and for yourself as well.

Ingredients


For chicken tikka

  • 1 chicken breast, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon tikka masala
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • salt as required
  • 1 tablespoon oil


For the filling

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or as required
  • salt as required
  • a pinch of pepper

  • 4 sandwich bread, edges trimmed and cut into triangles
  • butter, as required



Directions for making chicken tikka sandwich recipe


1. First let's prepare the chicken tikka. Marinate the shredded chicken breast with tikka masala, yoghurt, ginger garlic paste and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

2. Heat oil and cook the marinated chicken till done and bring to room temperature. You can instead grill the chicken.

3. For the filling, take a mixing bowl and add in the chicken tikka, onions, coriander leaves and mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well.

4. Prepare the sandwich by applying butter first and then a layer of the filling. Top it with another slice of bread. Repeat the process till all the fillings is used up.

5. Enjoy yummy chicken tikka sandwich.
